Our Constitution never contemplated rule by mandate. Until recently, we also would probably have never believed our government would take control of both our mind and body. There is an expression: where there is crisis, there is opportunity. Rahm Emanuel stated: You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that is it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before. And that is precisely what tyrants are doing today.
If you read Atlas Shrugged or The Fountainhead (or even better, both) by Ayn Rand, you will meet the Fauci’s and the systemic corruption of Washington, DC and their co-conspirators in the media – including so-called social media.
During one exchange in Atlas Shrugged, Ellis Wyatt — a rugged individualist, the type who built America and made it great — asked:
Ellis Wyatt: Who the hell are you?
John Galt: My name is John Galt. I live in a place we call Atlantis, and I think you’d fit in there. It’s a place where heroes live; where those who want to be heroes live. The government we have there respects each of us as individuals and as producers. Actually, beyond a few courthouses there isn’t much government at all. Bottom line, Mr. Wyatt; if you’re weary of a government that refuses to limit its power over you, if you’re ready at this moment to claim the moral right to your own life, then we should leave, and I’ll take you there. I’ll take you to Atlantis.
Our founders designed an Atlantis: America. A nation of self-sovereign individuals where we could assert our inalienable rights and our government acknowledged that any efforts to encroach upon our inalienable rights was an illegitimate government. The Federal Government’s powers few and specifically enumerated. Everything else resided within the states and we the people.
Americans voluntarily accepted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights as a replacement for the Articles of Confederation. Did this occur by force? NO. Was debate stifled or repressed? NO.
A convention was convened. Each state sent representatives to represent their interests. There were vigorous debates. Extensive debates. Then a vote. Further consent was required. The states and the people needed to ratify the new governing document. Pamphlets freely circulated, without interference. The Federalist Papers. The anti-Federalist Papers.
Ratification required a broad consensus and our consent. The people agreed to a contract: limited government and protections that the government would remain limited. Inalienable rights were not government granted privileges, but rights endowed by nature. We are our property not subject to expropriation nor confiscation. As Madison stated, we have rights in our property and property in our rights. We own them.
A system with multiple layers of checks and balances is a key attribute of the design to limit government and prevent encroachment of our liberties and freedom. A system, by design, decentralized to protect against the tyranny through the centralization and concentration of power.
Our government was designed with power dispersed, not centralized. With us as the ultimate authority.
Some have argued that even our laws can be nullified by us when we serve on juries. That our checks against the system extend beyond the ballot. Not by the bullet, but by the tools of nullification. This remains a disputed topic that is considered taboo to mention or discuss or debate.
Calvin Coolidge informed us: “Unless the people, through unified action, arise and take charge of their government, they will find that their government has taken charge of them. Independence and liberty will be gone, and the general public will find itself in a condition of servitude to an aggregation of organized and selfish interest.”
Today many of the checks and balances created by our Founders have been thwarted, and we are dangerously close to Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged dystopia.
Our Founders designed a nation with Representatives. We elect Representatives. They represent us. They do not rule us. But today our elected Representatives believe we are unwise and they need to rule us for our own benefit. They believe themselves privileged, elite and superior. They believe we do not have sufficient intelligence nor wisdom to make good choices for ourselves. They reject our sovereignty. They reject our freedom, despite being a product of our choices. They understand that, which is why they want to keep us in a constant state of fear so we will continue filling in our ballots for them while they work to disenfranchise us.
How is Fauci any different that the State Science Institute in Atlas Shrugged? Today our government consists of an extensive network or rules, regulations, taxes, administrative orders and bureaucratic control; is it much different than the Bureau of Economic Planning described in Atlas Shrugged?
Woke capitalism is a misnomer. We are now governed by a crony, corrupt, corporatist cartel. Corporations are in collusion with each other to lobby government for preferences and privileges. Mainstream media are in collusion with government, big corporations, and big tech surveillance companies. They extract our data and employ algorithms to spread misinformation and manipulate us, then probe us to learn more and more about how to efficiently and effectively manipulate us.
Their agenda is promoting fear, not knowledge. Discouraging learning and discovery and imposing inculcation and indoctrination. And doing so while also encouraging enragement. That is what their algorithms are designed for. Engagement through enragement. The more you are enraged the more you are engaged.
They do not want your money. They want more valuable currency: your data. They want to strip us of our personhood. Dissect us. Maybe, even more appropriately, their goal is enslavement by engagement through enragement.
What does this collusive partnership between woke companies, cancel culture, their political allies, and the media (including surveillance companies like FB, Twitter and Google) most fear? People who think for themselves. People who judge for themselves. People who speak up and challenge authority. People who do not forget that our first official founding document was a Declaration of Independence. People with the courage of their convictions. People committed to a legal expression of their dissent. People who will willingly surrender neither their freedom nor liberty. People resisting within the framework of the rule of law a hostile, violent intrusion of our inalienable rights. People who understand the difference between a virtuous government living within the constraints of a limited framework from usurpers who look to gain and amass power by any means. Read Saul Alinsky — they have!
We all need to join a Freedom Convoy, however we express it. Legally within the framework of the law. We are John Galt! We will not forsake our Atlantis. America is the greatest modern experiment in self-government, liberty, and freedom. We made America great — not government. Every person who goes to work every day — whatever work they have — and performs it with dignity and integrity.
Please accept my indulgence with two other citations from Atlas Shrugged:
“So you think money is the root of all evil? Have you ever asked what is the root of money? Money is a tool of exchange, which can’t exist unless there are goods produced and men able to produce them. Money is the material shape of the principle that men who wish to deal with one another must deal by trade and give value for value. Money is not the tool of the moochers, who claim you product by tears, or of looters, who can take it from you by force. Money is made possible only by the men who produce. Is this what you consider evil?”
“No matter how vast your knowledge or how modest, it is your own mind that has to acquire it. It is only with your own knowledge that you can deal. It is only your own knowledge that you can claim to possess or ask others to consider. Your mind is your only judge of truth—and if others dissent from your verdict, reality is the court of final appeal. Nothing but a man’s mind can perform that complex, delicate, crucial process of identification which is thinking. Nothing can direct the process but his own judgment. Nothing can direct his judgment but his moral integrity.”
